Not for travel unless you tie something around it firmly to keep the drawers in place and put it into a bag in case anything escapes. It's also quite heavy when filled, but having said that, I'm really loving this jewelry box and wishing I'd bought it years ago. My pretty little things were divided among several smaller boxes and it took a full afternoon to organize them into their new forever home. I can't believe they all fit and there's still room for more. I shopped around and read a lot of reviews before I went for this case. I'm very pleased with the results.
