I bought 2 of these for beginning rock collections for my grandsons. I can tell you the sight of these cases has impressed their young minds that gem stones are very special – they are really paying attention, not to mention they feel proud to have them.The cases are very nicely thought out having tightly fitting containers that do not come apart too easily holding items firmly. The black inserts can be cut down or hollowed out depending on what one wishes to store. Also, if some samples are too thick for the cases you can take the inserts hollow them and insert them without the container. The resulting display is impressive, and as I have said the grand boys are taking this seriously (had they simply gifted the rocks in a bag I’m sure they’d be over it already.)The cases came quite quickly and in perfect condition.
